Abstract
proposed work in this paper describe a software package tool by using MATLAB GUI for solving demand side management problem using load shifting technique. This helps user to improve the input data details in according to load used by the consumer and calculate the expenditure. This paper proposes software for load shifting consumption scheme to understate the peak demand and in turn save electricity billing. The load shifting technique of demand side management is used in this software for residential area to shift their load part from maximun to minimum hours with the help off time of the day tariff structure.
