Abstract
We propose a planar antenna that emits circularly/linearly polarized radiation with a perturbed feed, in which the resonant frequencies of the two antenna elements are slightly shifted. The antenna is composed of a printed dipole antenna and a planar inverted-F antenna on a dielectric substrate. The antenna is designed based on simulation results and its characteristics are experimentally verified. The results confirm that the proposed antenna radiates both circular and linear polarization.
