Abstract

The new association of steppe oak forests Filipendulo vulgaris—Quercetum roboris on the territory of the Zilair Plateau and southern extremity of South Urals (on the border of the Bashkortostan Republic and the Orenburg region) is described. This syntaxa have been classified within alliance Lathyro—Quercion roboris. Ass. Filipendulo vulgaris—Quercetum roboris includes two subassociations, and each of these contains two variants. Diagnostic species combinations of association, subassociations and variants are presented.
