Abstract
Wireless power transfer is a phenomenon which can be utilized to transfer power from one device to another without the use of power chords. The aim of this paper is to provide a compendious concept used in the application of wireless power transfer technologies, the typical advancements in the recent years and the need for wireless technologies. The key concepts applied in physics which illustrates about electromagnetic fields and waves are presented. The use of Radio Frequency signals and how it can be controlled is proposed. The enhancement of the RF technique which yields the idea of multiple-input, multiple-output systems for wireless power transfer is introduced.
