Open full text 0 citations

Abstract

The major EPRI solar heating and cooling experimental projects are summarized. In addition to outlining each project and its purpose, the report describes the major features of the solar systems. Also included are relatively detailed descriptions of the performance-monitoring equipment. As additional technical performance results are obtained and new projects added to the program, this document will be updated to include the new information. These projects provide a basis for verification of analytic work aimed at determining the preferred solar system for any given utility service area, i.e., the system that provides the lowest total cost to the consumer and the utility.
