Abstract
This paper analyzes the exploitation charachteristics of hybrid sports vehicles and the possibility to use these systems in everyday vehicles. Work-stroke internal combustion engines are also explained. In short, a bit about the history of hybrid vehicles, work principles of hybrid vehicles and different hybrid drivetrains. Then the analysis of different engines and rule changes in Formula 1. A comparison between the hybrid drivetrains of Formula 1 cars and WEC cars. Racing cars hybrid drivetrain and road car hybrid drivetrains are compared at the end.
