Abstract Die Chinoxaliniumsalze (I) reagieren in Gegenwart von Basen mit monosubstituierten Amidinen (II) zu Tetrahydroimidazochinoxalinen (III), während mit disubstituierten Amidinen, z.B. (IV), Tetrahydropyrrolochinoxaline (V) erhalten werden.
