Abstract
Offensive operations are operations that are carried out in order to conquer the initiative on the battlefield and use it in defeating the enemy. This work briefly explains what are the offensive operations, which are four types (phases) of offensive operations and what is the purpose of the offensive operation. In this work, we will retain on two types, what can be two phases of same offensive operations - attack and exploitation of success. Different from attack, which is operation being carried out to destroy or defeat the enemy, or to occupy and secure key land, exploitation of success is a type of operation that comes after a successful attack and it is used to make the unit use its success to completely destroy the enemy. Besides that, the work describes the sequence of the offensive operation, from the preparatory phase in the assembly area to the implementation of attack and consolidation and reorganization itself. The maneuvers that are key to each attack operation are described in the work, and the highlight or conclusion of the whole work is a graphical representation of the chosen form of maneuver in the attack operation or a task force battalion in the execution of the attack operation. In the graphical view we can see the mission of our unit, the analysis of the enemy forces by which the supposed version of the enemy's operation was determined, while the purpose of the operation was to develop the dedicated battalion organization as well as the version of the action itself.
