Abstract
Objective To screen a strain with high production of xylanase from soil and study the prime xylanase-producing condition. Methods To screen xylanase high-producing strain, based on the size of hydrolytic ring on the selective medium and xylanase activity during shake flask fermentation.Through a series of single-factor experiments, the effects of carbon source, nitrogen source and inorganic salt on xylanase production were studied. Results A strain with high production of xylanase was obtained. The optimal carbon resource, nitrogen resource and inorganic salt for xylanase production were wheat bran(30 g/L),beef extract(10 g/L),K2HPO4(1.0 g/L).Conclusion This strain has a potential for the production of xylanase.
