Abstract
In this workshop, participants will receive an introduction to the OpenGL programmable pipeline, and the OpenGL shading language (GLSL). Although not required, it would be beneficial for participants to have a prior working knowledge of OpenGL. The tutorial will include an overview of the OpenGL programmable pipeline, an introduction to the GLSL, and several examples of simple vertex and fragment shaders. It is hoped that participants will come away with a basic overview of shader programming in OpenGL and be able to make decisions about whether or not this subject can be incorporated into their graphics classes.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
