In the analysis of the carriage of dangerous goods in air traffic it is necessary to establish the classification of dangerous goods, handling dangerous goods and handling in case of incident or accident. The paper is written in accordance with Annex 18 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (‘Chicago Convention’) – Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air and Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air including the Supplement, the Law on the Transport of Dangerous Goods of the Republic of Croatia, and also Emergency Response Guidance for Aircraft Incidents Involving Dangerous Goods.
