Health care reform: can nursing make a difference?

Abstract

Decision makers today are asking many questions to identify the future of health care, and preserve its identity. Physicians, hospital administrators, nursing personnel and other health care providers are anxious about what the future holds for the delivery of care in this country. All health care providers have a responsibility to stay informed as to the outcomes of attempts to reform health care. Reform will occur; the question is, who will drive the reform process?
