Abstract

Public transport passengers in the city of Mojokerto commonly called urban transport is one of the means of transportation used by the community to carry out daily activities, the naming of this transportation is less desirable for the public due to the low level of service and public transport performance, so people switch to using private vehicles. Passenger line passenger fleet (AUP) line D trails currently 63 units with 12 pnp / knd capacity. The purpose of this study is to know the performance, productivity and the optimal number of AUP fleets of Line D line in Mojokerto city. The method used in this study is the method adopted from the technical guidelines for the implementation of public transport of passengers in urban areas in fixed and regular routes (Directorate General of Land Transportation 2002) and using empirical formulations. Result of study of performance of passenger line passenger line of 2016, load factor average 62,82%, average frequency 8 kend / hour, headway time average 7,95 minutes, average travel speed 27,51 km / hr, average travel time 2menit / km, productivity average 756 pnp / day and the optimal fleet of 23 vehicles.
