Abstract

The author has made an analysis of postoperative complications and fatal outcomes in cancer of stage-III of the proximal portion of the stomach. An increased volume of the operation, involvement of the esophagus, transpleural access used in patients older than 50 increased the number of complications and fatal outcomes.
