Abstract
The tillage experiment trials were established in Lanxi County,Heilongjiang Province. The dynamics of soil moisture and soil temperature in maize field under three cultivation treatments:conventional tillage(CT) ,no tillage(NT) ,tillage with straw cover(TS) ,were researched. The results showed that conservation tillage could increase soil moisture, obviously increase in soil layer of 20 cm. The differences of soil moisture among three treatments were not significant. The effect treated with TS was the best and the soil moisture was higher than that of NT. Conventional tillage increased soil moisture not significantly in soil under 20 cm. In different soil depths, the soil temperature of TS was the lowest, which was not good for the germination and emergence of maize.
