Abstract

The field experiment was conducted to study the effects of different direct sowing dates on the yield and yield components of rapeseed hybrid Ganyouza No.5.The results indicated that: along with the delay of sowing date of Ganyouza No.5,its mature period postponed,the flowering period and whole growth period shortened;the number of primary effective branches,the total pods per plant and 1000-grain weight gradually decreased;the pod length,seed number per pod and seed weight per pod increased first and then decreased.The yield had no significant difference among the treatments of sowing before October 15th,while the yield in the treatments of sowing after October 15th reduced significantly.Therefore,the proper sowing date of Ganyouza No.5 was wide,and the optimum sowing date was from late September to early October.
