[Results of repeated studies of gastric acid secretion in patients with duodenal ulcer before the operation].

Abstract
Gastric secretion indices were determined in patients with duodenal ulcers with 2-4 days intervals between the investigations. Considerable fluctuations in the gastric acid secretion levels were found in the first and second investigations. The findings were more stable in patients with pronounced hypersecretion. An analysis of results of the investigations performed in 109 patients with duodenal ulcer is presented.
