Abstract

This article looks at some notable concrete buildings and long-span bridges in China that have been recently built. These include: Shun Hing Square (68-story building in Shenzhen); Sky Central Plaza (office complex in Guangzhou); Yongjiang Bridge (1500 feet long); Jiangjiehe Bridge (1080 feet); Wanxian Bridge (1380 feet); Hubei Huangshi Bridge (crossing the Yangtze River); Humen Bridge (102 feet wide); Panzhihua Bridge (railway bridge); and other cable-stayed bridges.
