Abstract : The composite solid propellant combustion model of Beckstead, Derr and Price is modified to describe the combustion of Nitramine propellants. Modifications are based upon experimental observations of the combustion characteristics of hydrocarbon binder propellants containing cyclotetramethylenetetranitramine (HMX).
