Abstract
With the number of mobile devices growing rapidly in recent years, more and more mobile applications have been downloaded leading to large volume of mobile data. Besides, the indoor mobile users (MUs) often experience poor signal reception problem. Deploying femtocells is considered as a promising technique to address these issues. With more network service providers (NSPs) beginning to deploy femtocells, the femtocell communication markets become competitive. Therefore, how to offer femtocell network services in competitive femtocell communication markets is a pressing problem that NSPs should consider. In this paper, we study network service selection in a femtocell communication system, where two NSPs deploy femtocells to compete to provide better network services. We consider the case that NSP1 has firstly deployed femtocells and begun to provide network service, and the other one NSP2 plans to provide network service after NSP1. Numerical results are performed to evaluate our analysis.
