Abstract

Smart Intelligent Circuit Breaker (SICB) is an automated circuit recloser or breaker, which isolates the load from the source, once fault occurs. It performs action when the current / voltage component crosses the steady stability value. The stability value varies based on the load capacity or intensity of fault. It automatically switches on when the supply is regained after a delay time, for instance if the supply is blackout for a period and once supply is regained the circuit breaker closes the circuit after a delay period.
