Abstract
IL-1beta induced a significant increase in NO production as compared with the control (20.63±2.14 vs 6.78±1.50 nmol/10~(6) cells, P 0.05). IL-6 stimulated the medium insulin accumulation, but inhibited the glucose-stimulated insulin releast at 16.7mmol/L glucose. The combination of IL-1beta and IL-6 increased NO production (21.77±2.11 nmol/10~(6) cells, P 0.05).
