Evaluation on the Capacity of Agricultural Sustainable Development in Sichuan Province based on DEA Method

Based on the connotation of the agriculture sustainable development,the index system of the agriculture sustainable development in Sichuan province is constructed.The data envelopment analysis(DEA) method is applied to evaluate quantitatively and analyze the capacity of the agriculture sustainable development for twenty-one cities in Sichuan province.By evaluating four aspects of the subsistence guarantee,the development of agricultural economy,the rural social improvement and the agricultural sustainable development,the advantages and problems of the agriculture sustainable development of cities in Sichuan are found out.And it supplies the construction and management of the agriculture sustainable development in Sichuan province with some scientific decision-making gist.
