Abstract
The concentration and distribution character of Cd、Cr、Cu、Pb、Zn and Ni in industrial district of ChaoZhou City and suburb cropland was studied. The concentrations of Cd、Cr、Cu、Pb、Zn and Ni in industrial districts were higher than those in suburb cropland.According to the soil environmental quality standards(GB15618—1995),the status of soil pollution by heavy metals was evaluated by using single factor pollution index and integrated pollution index. The results showed that the soils in industrial area were polluted by Cd、Cr、Cu、Pb、Zn and Ni.The main sources of heavy metals in soils of industrial district were industrial pollutant discharge and vehicle emission.
