On current English teaching materials and teaching based on Practical English Test for Colleges-Level B

College English Test is objective,easy to be implemented,and has presently become an important method to evaluate English teaching efficiency.It helps teachers collect feedbacks for future teaching and learning and also motivates the learners.However,the contradiction between the test and the teaching is obvious in real teaching practice.The author analyses the test paper and the present teaching material in order to suggest a good way to combine the textbook learning with Level B test in English teaching practice by taking Practical English: Comprehensive English Course as an example.And the author constructs a teaching mode for combining the textbook learning with Level B test which is helpful in college English teaching.
