Abstract

The phenyl-functionalized MCM-48 material(C6H5-MCM-48) has been synthesized by the co-condensation of tetraethoxysilane and phenytrimethoxysiliane by using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as templating agent under alkaline reaction conditions. The materials before and after functionalization are characterized by SAXRD,FT-IR,TGA and N2 adsorption-desorption.The results show that the MCM-48-type inorganic/organic composite with gyroid structure has been prepared and the material has narrow pore-size disrtribution, high surface area and large mesopore volume.
