Abstract

A new method has been developed for the determination of trace amount of iodate by safranineO,The complex has a maximum absorption wavelength at 518nm;The liner range is 0~1.2mg/L for iodine;e=3.19×104L/moL·cm.The method has been used for the determination of iodate in table solt with satisfactory results.
