Development of Cast High Speed Steel Roll Materials

The action and the effects of alloy elements on the microstructures and performances of high speed steel(HSS)roll have been discussed. The development of cast HSS roll materials and the effects of microalloying and modification on the microstructures and performances of HSS roll have been presented also. The above results can give instruction for the development of high performance HSS roll.
