Abstract
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of chest X-ray characteristics for diagnosis of acute left heart failure-pulmonary edema. Methods The chest X-ray menifestations of 89 cases diagnosed acute left heart failure-pulmonary edema were reviewed. Results 87 cases showed heart shape enlargement,9 cases showed abnormal pulmonary congestion,43 cases showed interstital pulmonary edema,37 cases showed pulmonary aveolar edema.46 cases complicated with monolateral or bilateral pulmonary effusion and horizontal fissure thickened. Conclusions The appearance of abnormal changes of pulmonary edema in chest X-ray is earlier than that of clininal menifestations.Elevating the knowledge of X-ray characteristics of left heart failure-pulmonary edema is helpful for clinical diagnosis.
