Abstract
By using the direct expansion method, this paper discusses a class of perturbed transcendental equation.According to the single root or plural root of its reduced equation,we can obtain the asymptotic expansions of the roots, thus the relative result of [6] is generalized. And this conclusion is applied to a transcendental equation. The conclusion in this paper improves some previous results.
