Application Status and Development Trends of Heat Pump Technology

Abstract

Various kinds of heat pump systems,such as air-source heat pump,water-source heat pump,soil-source heat pump,solar energy/air heat pump and water loop heat pump,are compared and analyzed in this paper.The present application status of heat pump in the fields of hot water supply,air-conditioning,heating and drying is then introduced briefly.The impediments for heat pump application are also discussed.The trends of heat pump technology are finally presented.
