Abstract
Objective To establish the method for the determination of the content of total alkaloids extract from Semen Ziziphi Spinosae(SZS). Methods The content of total alkaloids in respective fractions was determined by UV.Liensinine was used as reference material. Results The Liensinine concentration was linear relationship with absorbance in the range of 6.6~33μg·ml-1.The equation of linear regression was Y=0.027 7X-0.002 7(r=0.999 7).The average recovery was 100.0% and RSD was 1.61%(n=9). Conclusion This method was easy to handle with accuracy and reproducibility and suitable for quantitative determination of total alkaloids in Semen Zizyphi Sponosae.
