Abstract

The paper analyzed how to report the results of physical measurements based on the experiment of measuring viscosity coefficient of liquid by falling-ball method. The calculation method for two types of uncertainty is discussed. The total uncertainty of directly repeated measuring result is expressed by type A and type B of uncertainty through square sum root method. The total uncertainty of measuring result u=(uA2+uB2)~(1/2) can be obtained.
