Abstract

Objective: In order to study the role of plasma ET and NO in the cause of Hypertension patients. Methods: The Concentrations of plasma ET was detected by radioimmunoassay in 94 patients with Hypertension and 35 normal controls. Meantime plasma NO 2 - / NO 3 - levels, the stable metabolic end product of NO was determined with Greiss determination. Results: The plasma ET levels in patients with Hypertension were significantly higher than those in normal control (P0.01).While plasma NO levels were decreased markly(P0.01). The score index of Hypertension had significant correlation with the levels of plasma ET?NO. Conclusion: It was shows that the ET NO are concened with the Occurrence and development of the Hypertension patients.
