Abstract

On the basis of experimental data of mechanical and thermal physical property of 22MnB5 high-strength steel,the numerical simulations of the whole hot stamping process of hot stamping,quenching and springback were made with PAMSTAMP software.According to the simulation parameters,a physical experiment was done and the basic law of quenching-time on springback after hot stampting of 22MnB5 steel was found.Results show that in a particular period of time,as the quenching-time being increased,the springback will be reduced,while the quenching-time continues to be lengthened,the springback value will not be changed significantly,and the best quenching-time is 20 s.The research result provides a scientific basis for the high strength steel plate hot stamping technology research.
