A study on the poetic thought of Li Yesi-A Poet in early Qing Dynasty

Li Yesi occupied prominent position among all the previous dynastic poets in the initial stage of Qing dynasty in Ningbo.The most of his poems are Yuefu which have unique features conveyed the recollection of the former dynasty and exposed the cruel reality of the society.He considered that poetry should have its own style.Meanwhile,in order to achieve poetry' moral education effect of expostulation,he advocated that a poet must express his nature feeling and enhance his own knowledge and wisdom.Li Yesi's poems and his poetic thought had the leading role in initial stage of Qing dynasty of Ningbo.
