Application of endoscope in rhytidectomy for forehead and temple

Objective Explore the clinical effect of using endoscope in rhytidectomy for forehead and temple. Methods For 36 patients who need rhytidectomy for forehead and temple,we removed part of orbicularis oculi muscle、corrugator、 procerus muscles and frontal muscle under endoscope to remove wrinkles of forehead and temple,stripping superficial layer of deep temporal fascia under the galea and fix in deep temporal fascia with silk thread in temple. Results Compared with traditional large incision rhytidectomy,the effection of using endoscope to remove wrinkles of forehead and temple was superior.after operation there is no obviously scar and alopecia. After 3-6 months the frontal numbness will disappear.100% patients feeled satisfied. Rhytidectomy with large incision has obviously scar and alopecia,scar P 0.05,alopecia P 0.05. Conclusion Using endoscope to remove wrinkles of forehead and temple could get better effect,the wound could be smaller and customer will recover faster.
