Abstract
Under the background of quality oriented education,the humanistic quality education has been strengthened in the higher education.As the main force,College Chinese has unique features and advantages over philosophy,history and other humanistic subject.In college Chinese teaching,great prominence must be given to the spirit of humanity to fulfil the function of humanistic teaching actually. In this essay,from the following aspects,the realistic need in modern society,the unique status of college Chinese in humanistic subject,the importance and ways of spirit of humanity in Chinese teaching,the above topic has been discussed.
