Abstract
Wang Wei was an outstanding landscape and pastoral poet in the Tang Dynasty,whose brisk poetic style was quite different from that of Chu Ci,but his sao-style poems obviously inherited the traditional style of Nine Songs,more importantly,his poems showed some differences from that traditional sao-style poems,which was a unique feature in the development of Sao-style poems and displayed a pioneering and innovative spirit.
