The goal of the research carried out under this DOE award was to develop methodology to ensure that the upcoming Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) survey achieves its goals of robustly constraining dark energy using weak gravitational lensing. This included developing more optimal ways to use the data on its own or in combination with other surveys, better ways of detecting and reducing the impact of systematic errors, and demonstrating that methodology on existing data.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
