Abstract

Universities worldwide are aiming to have committed lecturers in their system [1].However, in an upcoming country such as Malaysia studies investigating academics’ job satisfaction are scarce. The present study investigates the relation between job satisfaction of the academic staff and the organizational climate in an academic institution in Malaysia. The study concludes that there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational climate and job satisfaction.
