The Development of Practical Activity Program for Family Life Field in Home Economics Education

This study developed a practice activity program focusing on Family life in Home Economics Education. For this purpose, it first, pointed out the implications through the analysis of domestic and foreign practices and articles related to practical education. A survey was also conducted on the actual practical training. Secondly, 34 programs were developed focusing on the theme of family life in HEE and the program was revised and supplemented through expert evaluation. The developed program has the following features. First, this program provides flow charts (procedures) of practical work activities in which photographs are attached with specific illustrative materials. It also provides instructions how to make them for each school in order to increase the utilization of teachers. Secondly, this program can be used as a sole program for each subject, to facilitate its utilization in HEE, creative experiential activity class and free semester. Thirdly, this program has a functions to provide learners with activities that can be carried out in HEE class, in an effort to, improve cooperation and sociality.
