Abstract
Summary form only given. We demonstrate coherent transients -Rabi oscillation and a photon echo- between hyperfine levels in isotopically purified167Er3+in Y2SiO5crystal at zero magnetic field. These observations provide us with optical param-eters such as the Rabi frequency and coherence time, which are indispensable for coherent manipulation of167Er3+electronic states. The estimated coherence time is longer than that in degenerated levels, which indicates that the use of the hyperfine sublevels in167Er3+is expected to exhibit longer memory time in quantum memories.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
