Poverty Reduction and Inclusive Finance —An Empirical Analysis based on China Ethnic Areas

Abstract

This paper empirically analyzes the relationship between inclusive finance and poverty alleviation in minority areas. The results show that: (1) the overall development level of inclusive finance in the region is relatively low, and the IFI is about 0.37. (2) The development of inclusive finance in ethnic areas can promote poverty alleviation to a certain extent. (3) Economic growth, employment status and urbanization have good poverty reduction effects. Finally, relevant policy recommendations were put forward to develop inclusive finance to alleviate poverty in minority areas.
