Present study has included 95 Pleural Effusion patients. Pleural fluid were collected from them and classified as Transudate and Exudate according to the standard criteria. Pleural Fluid C-Reactive Protein (CRP) concentrations indicated towards diagnosis and severity of exudates. CRP in pleural fluid is a helpful tool in diagnosis and monitoring of pleural effusion patients. Keywords: Pleural effusion, Exudate, CRP
