Abstract

A 6D SO(14) flavor unification model with two spinor representations is obtained by a $Z_2$ orbifold compactification of the heterotic string, and the N=4 supersymmetry is reduced to N=2. This 6D model reduces to the previous 5D SO(14) model of family unification after the $S_1$ compactification.
