Abstract

Consider the basic parameters that affect the acoustic properties of duct silencers in ventilation, air-conditioning and exhaust systems. Design one duct silencer and calculate insertion and transmission acoustic losses. Process the influence of air flow on self-inducted insertion noise and on total flow and acoustic characteristics of silencer. Consider calculation methods for determining acoustic parameters in duct silencer according to existing standards.
