Abstract
With the development of software radio, the direction finding system based on spatial spectrum estimation has attracted more and more attention. MUSIC algorithm is one of the most commonly-used methods for spatial spectrum estimation. However, the performance of the traditional MUSIC algorithm in DOA estimation of multiple coherent sources is obviously lowered. To solve this problem, an improved MUSIC algorithm is proposed, and the performance of the improved MUSIC algorithm is verified by system simulation. In addition, an architecture of the radio direction finding system based on the improved algorithm is proposed, which has some practicability.
