Abstract

Compared to orthogonal wavelets, biorthogonal wavelet functions allow more degrees of freedom. In the present work the application of biorthogonal and reverse biorthogonal functions for signal filtration is analyzed. Signals with high notch noise-to-signal ratio are filtered. The obtained results are compared based on different criteria, and corresponding conclusions are made.
