Abstract

Deciding when to first approach a difficult staff member is a challenge. Your first contacts and efforts toward improving a challenging teacher are important in continuing to develop a relationship between principal and teacher. A rule to keep in mind is this: “If a teacher realizes that you are aware of an inappropriate behavior, you must have a dialogue regarding the behavior.”
